Troys big Butt     This is Troy Helmer of Maui, Hawaii and his big Halibut of the summer out of Deep Creek . He fought it until the line broke, then some how the line wrapped around my pole at the bottom and Troy managed to land it. We call it our FIShICAL  a small fish  wonder that happened at the bottom of cook inlet on a sunny day at our favorite hole. This one was around 70lbs

Russ & Troys with Halibut This is Russell Knight and Blaine Doyle on one of our wonderful days on the cook inlet this year. We had a great time this summer getting these flat fish. I love fishing but I like to watch someone else catch' em too !

             I Think I see a pattern developing here, sleeping, smoking, sleeping, more sleeping, Awake !, lying about a big fish, true size of your fish and then Blaine telling the common fish story by expressing how big the one was that got away. Then more sleep...

 

 

Big Halibut catch  Russell and his big Halibut of the season. .When summer comes you can bet I'll be down on the river or out in the ocean fishing . I have a great group of friends that are my regular summer gang.

  These are personal photo's of our Alaskan summer. Everybody here is personal friend or employee. Winter is long and summer short, if you want to get a hold of Russell you better know his personal cell number or you will never get in his boat, because he will be GONE FISHING until mid August.                     I'm sure you all understand  !

 

 

 

Obies king                                                                     Obie Simonis                                                                       Displays his Huge king salmon he worked for all his life, he threw back about 15 fish before he decided this one was good enough for him.  Obie is a fishermans ,fisherman ! I'm always impressed with his knowledge of Fish.                                   

 

 

Jesse & Steve   My good buddies Jesse and Steve in Prince William Sound with me fishing for rock fish. We did well even on the shrimp. With these 2 on board we always catch a good time , even if the fishing is slow.

We had a great morning 3 Kings in 2 Hours , what a day !

Steven could not believe that a fish has 2 eyes on the same side of his head, when I pointed out he had the same problem, he just walked away mumbling something....

 

 

 

 

                                                                               Kristi and her Fresh red salmon on the banks of the Kenia River. She caught so many fish that Steve had to keep fishing just so she did not show him up , didn't work she out fished him 2 to 1.
