Terms/Payment
Knight's Will accept Cash, Credit cards and Personal Checks
A 50% deposit is required on all Taxidermy and Tanning and any other jobs we are contracted to do. Once the job is completed we expect the balance due upon notification that its ready. We ship after final payment. Once your Taxidermy job is mounted and is in the final stages of completion, that we send you notice of the final bill.. This is when we help in figuring out the least expensive but best way to ship out your mount. Knights will deliver to the airport for direct shipments, if that turns out to be the best way to go. depending on your job the choices are Postal Service, Fed ex, UPS, Roadway trucking, and several airlines depending upon the area we are shipping to.
Storage Charges will apply when you do not respond or pick up your work after 30 days. Unfortunately, we are limited in our space and we must keep the trophies moving out to make room for the next series of animals we are doing. To help make our operation run more smoothly it would be greatly appreciated if you would pick up with in 30 days. We are not a storage facility, but we will help where we can.
Loss of trophy will occur when you have ignored all notices and will not communicate with the shop to make payment or delivery . It is state law that after 6 months from notification of completion, the taxidermy shop will have the right to file with the state to sell this abandoned mount. Of course this is a last resort situation, but we do apply for abandoned trophies on a regular basis. Usually, we at Knight's make every effort to accommodate our clients needs, if we can, just call us and stay in touch.
Wire Transfers are accepted as well. This seems to be more common from overseas clients. We will take a wire transfer from any one willing to do it ! Call the shop and we will provide you with all our bank details for your transfer to take place.
Ask Questions if something is not clear, feel free to call the shop with your credit card info to pay or mail in a check, its all good for us
Responsibility of your Skin or Hide , Knight's will not accept responsibility for the out come of any animal. Due to various field conditions, the lack of field care, and the general conditions skins are in during different seasons , affect the quality of the Tanning which affects the mounting process . All these things must be taken into account ,,like un-noticed rubbing on hides and shrinkage of the hide cannot be controlled by Knight's Taxidermy Inc. We do all we can to ensure that your skin is handled properly , but the first care given in the field is the most important, such as Turning, lips and ears and removing toe bones and above all Salting the hide under all conditions, We will do every thing possible to save a animal that's slipping as well, so work with us and It will all be good !
Thank you, for choosing Knight's Taxidermy Inc, we do strive to do our best, in a timely manner and with pride in our work
Sincerely
Russell Knight
